"Age of Renegades"

There was a time in the old West, a veritable "Age of Renegades", when men faced 'Indian arrows or Mexican lead' on a daily basis. Six guns were the new invention . The Walker Colt was sported on the hips of all who could acquire them from Texas Rangers to everyday cowboys. It quickly became the equalizer in the Indian battles. Many a running fight ensued in the midst of the billowing prairie dust. Men were hard and wild like the country they fought to tame. They left a legacy of tenacity and grit that is still marveled at.
